I received many of the gifts posted below for my birthday. Thanks everyone. Here's a gift Laura bought me:


When The Books released their latest album I purchased the record version with the intention of hanging the sleeve as art but didn't get around to purchasing a frame. When the album arrived I was pleased to see that the release was actually two records and they were very attractive. So Laura bought me two frames. Check it out:




The clear record is in front of the album cover. The white record is in front of the sleeve insert. The sleeve insert is letters that you can stick on the front cover to make your own custom cover. Cool.

On another note, in regards to my on-going search for eccentric internet personalities I introduce you to the silverfuturist. His enthusiasm is genuine and fun to watch.
