Birthday Presents
I was asked what I wanted for my upcoming birthday and since I haven't posted anything for a while I guess I'll turn this into a blog post. Let me preface this by saying I am a very lucky man who has everything he needs and is blessed with a healthy family, friends, pets and has food to eat and a nice roof over my head.
Having said that here's some stuff you could get me:
My amp weighs too much with all the stuff jammed into the back of it, patch cords, pedals, tuners, harmonicas, kazoos, strings, set lists, picks, batteries, earplugs, pliers, slides etc. so I'd like to get some sort of cool bag to put all this stuff in. Something like a hip bag or lap top bag.
Next on the list would be Lou Nanne's new biography:
Plain t-shirts (Made in Canada preferably, blue, black, white or grey) and black athletic socks. This is a picture of t-shirts for those unfamiliar with them:
And finally, I don't even know if these exist but CCM and Roger Edwards put out vintage hockey sweaters that were supposed to copy jerseys from earlier hockey eras. I have this one, a 1935 version:
And would like to get one like this from 1957 with the white sleeves and red stripe (if they exist - I haven't been able to find them):
That's it for now. If I think of anything else I'll add it later.
