MESSAGE FROM BILL

Every fall there is a desperate need for Greyhounds retiring from the seasonal tracks in the northeast USA. This year is no exception. We have been asked to help out again with dogs from New Hampshire.
Last fall I took 104 retired racers in Sep/Oct, but that resulted in far too many dogs in the kennel. I offered our help again this year, but will not take more than 50 in the kennel at one time.

Everyone can help by promoting Greyhounds as the wonderful pets that they are. Arrange a "Greyhound Awareness Day" at a local store or business. Have your local paper do a "Human Interest Story" which features your Greyhounds. If talking to anyone who shows an interest in adopting then throw them in your car and bring them to GRA. If we all work together we can resolve this problem and move all these wonderful dogs on to their very own couch.

PLEASE REMEMBER "NONE OF THESE RETIREES WILL BE PUT DOWN"

MOVE INTO ADOPTION GROUPS.
