Friday, July 27th at the Bottom's Up Lounge

GDH is playing with the Road Rockets. We'll probably tone it down a bit so as not to bring the walls down. It's kinda small so we'll bust out the acoustic and banjo for some tunes.

(p.s. New pickguards!!!)

Three common mistakes many people make when writing are the following:

1) you're/your

Use "you're" as a contraction for "you are". "I hate you are face" is incorrect. "You're pissing me off" is better.

Use "your" to show possession. "I hate your face" or "I hate the face you possess."

2)There/their/they're

Use "there" to point to a place. "I went there too."

Use "their" as the possessive case of "they". "They brought their beer with them."

Use "they're" as a contraction of "They are". "They’re going to Durd Night."

3)to/too/two

Use "to" to express motion or direction toward something. "Are you going to the Bottom's Up Lounge on Friday?"

Use "too" as you would the word "also" or as "extremely". "You were too drunk last night." “I think my pickguards look awesome too!”

Use "two" to denote the second of something or something two in number. "What do the last two letters 'cy' mean in your first post?"

Thanks for the comment.
